Protecting your personal data is important to us. We process your data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions (GDPR, Austrian TKG 2021). This statement informs you about the key aspects of data processing on this website.

The essentials first
- This website sets no cookies and uses no tracking or advertising services.
- Fonts, images and all other assets are served from our own server – no connections to Google Fonts or similar services are established. The only exception is the map on the Duck Race page, which is loaded only after you explicitly click (see below).
- We only process personal data that you provide yourself (contact form, event registration).
Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by peaknetworks GmbH (Austria), acting as our processor. When you visit the website, the web server processes technically necessary data (IP address, date and time, requested page, browser type) in log files to ensure secure and stable operation (Art 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are deleted automatically after a short period.
Contact form
If you contact us via the contact form, we process the data provided (name, e-mail, optional phone number, message) to handle your enquiry and follow-up questions (Art 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). Enquiries are deleted automatically after 12 months.
Event registration (e.g. Ski Championships)
When you register for events, we process the data provided in the form to organise the event (Art 6(1)(b) GDPR). This data is also deleted automatically after 12 months.
Map (OpenStreetMap)
On the Duck Race page we show the venue on a map provided by OpenStreetMap. The map is not loaded automatically: you first see a notice only and decide by clicking whether the map should appear. Only then is your IP address transmitted to the OpenStreetMap Foundation (United Kingdom), which needs it to deliver the map tiles. The legal basis is your consent (Art 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Your consent is stored locally by your browser (localStorage, not a cookie) so that you do not have to click again on every visit. You can withdraw it at any time by clearing the website data in your browser. The privacy policy of the OpenStreetMap Foundation applies (osmfoundation.org).
Visitor statistics
We keep anonymous visitor statistics (page views) that work without cookies and do not create user profiles; IP addresses are not stored (Art 6(1)(f) GDPR – measuring the reach of our club activities). The "Global Privacy Control" browser setting is respected.
Event photos
Our gallery shows photos of our public events (Art 6(1)(f) GDPR – documentation and public relations of the association; § 78 Austrian Copyright Act). If you appear in a photo and would like it removed, an informal message is all it takes – we will remove the photo immediately.
Donations
Donations are made by bank transfer to our club account. We process the associated data (name, IBAN, payment reference) to handle and document the donation (Art 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR) and within the scope of statutory retention obligations.
Data sharing
We do not share your data with third parties unless we are legally obliged to do so. No data is transferred to third countries.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Simply contact kontakt@rt39.at. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you can lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (www.dsb.gv.at).
Security
All data is transmitted encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.
